Sharing data between two OPC Servers

It is common to share data between different data sources. For example, a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) may need to share tag values with a second PLC. Or, values from a Distributed Control System (DCS) may need to populate a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.

OPC technology can be configured to share data between sources. When both sources are using an OPC server, a simple client application can be installed and configured to facilitate the sharing of data between two servers.

Learn how this is done in this 3 minute tutorial using OPC DataHub from Cogent®.
